About us and our design philosophy

About us

A love story rooted in flowers, music, and the Irish countryside.

We’re Sarah and Rory — flower farmers, designers, and partners in life and in work. Together we run Moneygorm Farm, a small seasonal flower farm and wedding floral design studio in West Waterford, where we grow every bloom with care, and design with a wild, romantic touch.

Before we grew flowers, we made music. We met in Cork while playing gigs, fell in love, got married, and dreamed of a quieter life closer to the land. That dream led us here — to a small field under big skies, where the rhythm of the seasons has replaced the rhythm of the stage.

Our work now is still creative — just in a different medium. Nature leads, and we follow.

What we believe

We believe in beauty that feels rooted — in the landscape, in the season, in your story. That’s why we don’t use imported blooms or floral foam, and why we only take on a small number of weddings each year. Each couple we work with gets our full attention and a completely bespoke floral plan, created in collaboration and designed to feel deeply personal.

Whether you’re eloping in the hills or planning a celebration in a country house, our designs aim to reflect something real — not just what’s trending, but what’s meaningful.

How we work

Every wedding begins with a relaxed consultation where we get to know your plans and what matters to you. From there, we create a custom proposal rooted in your style and the flowers that will be in bloom.

We’re known for floral design that feels natural, romantic, and connected to the wild beauty of Ireland — filled with movement, texture, and softness, like the land that inspires it.

If you’re looking for flowers that tell a story — one that’s yours, and the season’s, and the land’s — we’d love to hear from you.
